Following are top ten richest sportsmen of the world who are famous for their net worth in the world of sports:

1. Tiger Woods: On the top position we have Tiger Woods, a very famous golfer. As per the survey done by the Forbes Tiger Woods is the richest sportsman as of 2013. He is the citizen of The United States of America and his annual income is about $78 million out of which $65 million is coming from the endorsements. Tiger Woods is representing many big brands. His net income is estimated as more than $500 million. He has won many tournaments and awards and is the top most golfers in the world.

2. Roger Federer: On the second position we have the famous Tennis star Roger Federer. He is one of the finest tennis players we have ever seen in the history. Roger Federer is 31 years old and he belongs to Switzerland, he has won so many championships and also ranked on the first position for a long time. He is also earning a great amount from the endorsements. He is earning more almost $71.5 million annual out of which $65 million is from the endorsements only.

3. Kobe Bryant: Kobe Bryant is a very famous basketball player and the richest amongst all also. Kobe Bryant is 34 years old and having the citizenship of United States. The major source of his income is from the endorsements like Mercedes-Benz, Turkish Airlines, Nike and Lenovo. Kobe has won many awards and holds many individual records as well. This famous NBA star has a annual income of $61.9 million out of which $34 million is coming from the endorsement sector.

The 34 years old player is earning the maximum amount from his game and a part of income is also coming from the endorsements. His annual income is about $51 million, out of which he is earning $40 million from his brilliant game and rest of the $11 million comes from the endorsements like Wrangler, Nike etc.

6. Aaron Rodgers: On number six we have another famous American footballer Aaron Rodgers, he is very famous for its aggressive game. This NFL player holds some good individual records and also associated with some big endorsements. The total annual income of Aaron is calculated as almost $49 million out of which he is earning the maximum amount from his superb game only. $6 million comes from the endorsements. He is 29 years old and was also awarded as the best NFL player for two consecutive seasons.

Messi is the world’s third highest paid footballer, his total annual income is $41.3 million and about 50% of his income comes from the endorsements. Lionel Messi has signed a contract with the Spanish club Barcelona till 2018 where the club will pay him $20 million annually.
